Case studies

Three pieces of client work, written up the way we'd explain them to a peer. Each one expands on feedback published on our testimonials page — the same three clients, with the detail behind each quote. Every number below comes either from what the client said themselves or from the service metrics we publish.

EcoFlow Services

Taking over managed IT

The challenge

Jamal Malik's testimonial names the problem plainly: too much time spent worrying about technology, and not enough on the business. That's the pattern we see when we take over an environment like this — recurring incidents pull people away from the jobs they were hired to do, and a director ends up chasing IT problems instead of running the company. It's usually the point where ad-hoc fixes stop being enough.

What we did

We started the way we always do: a free IT audit, so the quote was based on what they actually ran. Then we took over managed IT end to end — 24/7 proactive monitoring across the estate, managed patching, and day-to-day issues routed to our helpdesk with its 15-minute response target. Where there's an incumbent provider to move away from, the switch runs on the same zero-disruption process we use for every takeover.

The outcome

In the words of Jamal Malik, Director at EcoFlow Services: “Their team is responsive, knowledgeable and proactive, resolving issues quickly while helping us improve the reliability and security of our systems. We now spend far less time worrying about technology and more time focusing on the business.” The day-to-day support behind that runs at our published desk numbers: 96% of calls answered in under 15 seconds, 91% of issues resolved at first contact.

Landmark Properties

A five-year partnership

The challenge

Mohammed Mahmud's testimonial names something that rarely appears on a fault log: their previous provider was perfectly professional, but they felt like a small account inside a very large organisation. Nothing was broken enough to complain about. That's the pattern behind a lot of the businesses that come to us — competent service, delivered at arm's length, where you are one ticket among thousands and nobody calls unless you chase.

What we did

We took over day-to-day IT and put a named team behind it, so the people answering the phone know the environment rather than reading it off a record. That runs through our helpdesk on a 15-minute response target, with proactive monitoring so problems get raised by us rather than reported by them. The switch itself used the same zero-disruption handover we run on every takeover.

The outcome

Five years on, they are still with us — which is the only real measure of this kind of work. Mohammed Mahmud, COO at Landmark Properties, put it this way: “AM Networking still keeps us informed, responds when we need them and makes us feel genuinely valued. Their helpdesk team now feels like an extension of our own team.” The desk numbers behind that are the ones we publish: 96% of calls answered in under 15 seconds, 91% of issues resolved at first contact, and customer satisfaction above 95%.

JWC Accounts

A cloud migration

The challenge

Hannah Turnbull's testimonial names the pressure exactly: lockdown arrived, the business was tied to office servers, and there was no clear plan for getting off them. An accountancy practice cannot simply stop — client deadlines do not move because nobody can reach the building. The job was to get the team working securely from anywhere, fast, without the migration itself becoming the outage it was meant to prevent.

What we did

Fast did not mean reckless. Even under time pressure we ran it the way we run all of them: a rollback plan agreed before anything moved, a small group across first to see what broke, then the rest behind them. The destination was Microsoft 365 and Azure — with identity and access set up so people could work from home securely rather than just work from home, and the whole thing sized to scale in steps as the practice grew.

The outcome

Hannah Turnbull, Director at JWC Accounts, gave the verdict: “Abdul and his team went above and beyond to put a cloud solution in place that allowed us to keep operating and work securely from anywhere. The system was built to grow with us, and we are still using it today.” Still in use years later is the outcome worth having — a migration that held up rather than one that needed redoing. Our migrations typically complete with near-zero downtime, and once teams are trained on the tools they've moved to, we typically see adoption rise by 25–40%.

A note on the numbers

Anything a client says above is quoted as they said it. The figures are our service metrics: what we typically see across engagements of that kind, not a promise about any one client. We'd rather label them honestly than let you assume every number was measured at one company.

And the standing numbers behind all three studies are the ones we run the whole practice on: a 15-minute initial response target, 96% of calls answered in under 15 seconds, 91% first-contact resolution, and client satisfaction above 95% — from a team of four with 60+ years of combined enterprise IT experience, based at Paul Street in Shoreditch.
