Three ways to reach us

Call the support desk

The quickest route for anything stopping you working right now. Open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time.

Email the helpdesk

Best for anything that can wait an hour or two, or when you've got screenshots to attach. A well-written ticket is usually fixed at first contact — the checklist below shows what to include.

24/7 emergency line

For critical problems that can't wait for morning — the whole office offline, a server down, a suspected security incident. Answered around the clock, every day.

Help us fix it first time

91% of issues are resolved at first contact, and the tickets that get there fastest all include the same five things. Thirty seconds of detail up front saves a round of back-and-forth emails later.

  • Which device — the machine name if you know it, or a description like “the Dell laptop I use every day”.
  • The exact error message, word for word. A screenshot is even better.
  • What you were doing when it broke, and whether it's happened before.
  • How urgent it is — is it slowing you down, stopping you, or stopping the whole team?
  • The best number to call you back on, and when you're free to take the call.

Not sure about any of it? Send what you have. A vague ticket beats no ticket, and we'll ask for the rest.

What happens next

However you get in touch, the same process picks it up.

A 15-minute response target

That's the target we run the desk to. On the phone you'll usually be through much quicker — most calls are picked up in under 15 seconds.

Most issues end there

91% of issues are resolved at first contact, usually remotely while you're still on the line.

On-site if it needs hands

If the fix needs someone at your desk — dead hardware, cabling, a stubborn printer — an engineer comes out from Paul Street.
