Most cookie policies are long because the website behind them does a lot of tracking. This one is short because ours doesn't. As of August 2026, this site sets only what's strictly necessary to serve it — no analytics, no ad trackers, no social pixels.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between pages or visits — a login session, a preference, or, on much of the web, an identifier used to follow you around for advertising. Similar technologies such as local storage do the same job under a different name, and this policy covers those too.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary cookies only. That means any technical cookies our hosting platform sets to serve pages reliably and keep the site secure — things like load balancing or basic security protection. These exist to deliver the website you asked for, nothing more.
And to be specific about what we don't use:
- Analytics cookies — no Google Analytics or anything like it
- Advertising or tracking cookies of any kind
- Social media pixels or embedded tracking widgets
- Third-party fonts or scripts that phone home — our fonts are self-hosted
What that means for you
Nothing to do. Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent under UK rules — they're the minimum needed to deliver a website at all — so there's no cookie banner here and nothing to opt out of.
That's deliberate. We'd rather build the site so the question doesn't come up than make you click through a consent pop-up on every visit.
If we add analytics later
We might, one day — knowing which pages people actually read is useful. If we do, we'll update this page to say exactly what we've added and why, and we'll ask for your consent where the rules require it before anything non-essential is set. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under privacy or site settings — and can be set to clear them automatically when you close it. Blocking strictly necessary cookies can stop parts of some websites working, though on this one there's very little to break. Your browser's help pages cover the exact steps for your version.
